3 Cards Using Lisa Horton’s Floral Teacup Embossing Folder and Stencil

I got a chance to play with the Lisa Horton Floral Teacup Embossing folder and coordinating stencil set. I love embossing folders that come with coordinating dies like many of Lisa Horton’s do. They allow for so many more ways to use your products.

In the first sample, I used the stencils to colour the image quickly and easily using various Distress inks and blending brushes. Then I die cut it out using the included die and then laid the die cut image in the embossing folder and embossed it.

In this second example I again, stenciled the image leaving out the tea cup portion using Distress inks and blending brushes, die cut it out and embossed it.. This time once I had it embossed I fussy cut around where the tea cup was and used only the floral part on my card. This was extremely easy  to do and I love that it gives up more ways to use the embossing folder and it completely changes up the look. You could even cut out the single large floral and just use it or any other portion that you like to create whatever arrangement you like best.

For this last card, I used the stencils and the die only, choosing not to emboss the image. This one was a little more tricky to figure out how to line up the stencil on the card front so that I could die cut the top edge at the spots I wanted. At first I tried die cutting first but found it was easier to do the stenciling first, then lay the die over the stenciled work and die cut it this way.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the samples of these cards using the Lisa Horton Floral Teacup Embossing folder and coordinating stencils we have for sale in the store.
