I love this stencil and die set from My Favourite Things. It is terrific to use together or each on their own. Here I used them together to make this floral wreath card.
I used a variety of shades of distress oxide colours to create the florals and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To create the background for the card I cut a circle mask out of Masking Magic and centered it where I wanted my wreath the be on my card front. After it was masked off, I smooshed some Unchartered Mariner distress ink, spritzed it with water and swiped my cardstock through it. I then repeated this process with some distress oxide in the same colour.
Once this was dry I took the half tone stencil from The Crafters Workshop and removed some ink by placing it on top of the dried card front and taking a damp baby wipe and dabbing it on the stencil to remove some of the colour in random spots until I was happy with the results.
I them removed my mask and stamped a sentiment from the Sizzix Good Vibes 4 set in the center of my circle.
Lastly, I arranged my die cut floral images around the circle until I was happy with the look and adhered them using some foam pieces on some of them to add dimension.
