Just a few floral die cuts! What was I thinking? Assembly has begun. Hopefully at some point I will have cards. I started all this from one idea I had for a completely different die to make a shaped card. I still haven’t gotten to the card 😂

This sturdy A2 card-sized box has an acetate die-cut lid and holds up to 6 cards and envelopes (depending on embellishments). This makes a lovely gift for a special friend or family member.
In this class you will build and decorate the box as well as make a template for future boxes. You will also create 5 all-occasion cards using matching floral paper. Envelopes, sentiments and extras are included in your kit as well.
This class is perfect for the beginner cardmaker as most cutting, scoring and die-cutting has been completed. The cards are quick and easy layered cards with a few little twists. Learn how black card stock highlights coloured patterns. Two of the cards feature a “fun fold” component. The possibilities are endless!

Isabelle is back from her trip and ready to teach

Isabelle is back from her trip and ready to teach and wow this month’s class is stunning!!!
Come and have some fun experimenting with free sketching and doodling to create vibrant blooms on top of Alcohol ink and various surfaces. We will first experiment with cool colours, then use a larger palette. Thank you to Beth Kluth for gifting me with this process. You will find it liberating!
Projects may not be exactly as shown as you will use your creativity to come up with your own doodles!
4 projects: one ceramic tile, and 3 larger projects (photo paper, Grafix paper with mat, and canvas)
If you have old glass eye droppers (with/without) bottles, bring them along (I will have some on hand).
I encourage you to sign up quickly as once again, I am sure her classes will sell out very quickly.

We have a day full of events to celebrate all the

We have a day full of events to celebrate all the paper arts planned for the store and we would love to have you join us.
We invited all of our instructors to be a part of this event this year. As we have opened back up to in person classes, the number of instructors that teach at the store has grown and we wanted to give you an opportunity to meet them all and for them to be able to share their talent and get a small taste of what you can expect from one of their classes.
We are thrilled to say all but one are able to make it (but it’s her birthday weekend so she’s forgiven, lol) and with that an incredible day of demos and make and takes started to take shape.
It will be a drop in, open house format so no need to sign up. We did divide the instructors into two time slots so that there is room for everyone and you are free to wander, chat to the instructors, check out their samples and and pick and choose which demos and make and takes you are interested in checking out or feel free to stay all day and try to do them all!

We aren’t going to give away all our secrets, you will have to come in to discover all the great deals that will be available.
I will say, if you are a fan of paper then you definitely need to come to the store on Saturday as we have been creating some fabulous bundles of 10 and 25 sheets of patterned paper that are a steal of a deal. I mean think of that old IKEA commercial where you will be running out the door, yelling start the car, the prices as so low on these bundles.
That is all I can give away for now but we hope to see you there. I think it is going to a lot of fun

I have been having a little fun playing and experi

I have been having a little fun playing and experimenting. I pulled out my Glimmer machine and a bunch of embossing folders, embossed the paper then put it through my machine and well here’s the results.
What do you think? I am pretty pleased for my first time trying it this way. I can’t wait to try some more folders and get even better at it.
For now, I am going to make an effort to turn these into something.
