This lighthouse card is created by diecutting the image in white cardstock. Light blue metallic cardstock is cut so that it is 1/8″ bigger than the die cut piece all around. The copics were used to colour the metallic cardstock behind the diecut to add interest and dimention to the image. A pencil was used to lightly to lightly draw where the top of the water was and the outer edge of the light beams to avoid guessing. The tiny leaf die was used to cut silver leaves to create a wreath on the lighthouse and make this card a Christmas card but that step can be easily omitted.
